Stonehenge
Stonehenge is an ancient monument located in Wilshire. It is one the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world. It is believed that it was erected around 2200BC. It was made by a culture with no written language. Still to this day Stonehenge is making even the brightest minds today as to how Stonehenge was made and what was the purpose of building it. Until 1977 visitors where able to climb and touch Stonehenge but due to erosion visitors now have to simply walk around with the option to be able to listen the history of Stonehenge. It is a protected site by English Heritage.
